Created by Help Desk Team, Modified on Mon, 24 Feb at 10:26 AM by Help Desk Team

  1. Click Let's Get Started from the Home page or click Procedures link at the top of the site to navigate the main procedures table.
  2. Once you find a desired procedure in the list (see Search for a Procedure if needed), use the scrollbar below the list to scroll to the right to display the "ACTIONS" column.
  3. Click the View button (tablet icon) to view the procedure's details and take other actions (e.g., download, print, etc.).Image of Procedures list orange boxes showing scrollbar and View button
  4. Within the open procedure, below the procedure's header information, all users can take the following actions, listed below in the order that the appear in the actions menu (from left to right):
Procedure Viewer header info and actions menu for all users
    1. Bookmark the procedure (adds the procedure to your bookmarks list)
    2. Flag (or unflag) the procedure (e.g., if it is a duplicate of another procedure or has incorrect or incomplete information)
      1. You can only remove a flag that you added
    3. Print the procedure (print to PDF or a printer)
    4. Note: the download procedure feature is not currently working
    5. View any child (variation) procedures
  5. Institutional Representatives (who manage procedures for their institutions) will see two additional actions within the procedure view:
Procedures Viewer Action Menu for Institutional Representatives
    1. Endorse the procedure (to indicate that your institution uses the same steps)
    2. Create a child (variation) procedure
  6. All users can also contact the procedure's contributing institution (even if it displayed as "Institution Not Identified") by clicking on the envelope icon to the right of "Contributing Institution" in the procedure header), as shown below. For detailed instructions, see How do I contact a procedure's contributing institution?
  7. Within the opened procedure, if it has been flagged by any site user (e.g., is a duplicate procedure or has incorrect information), all users will see a Procedure Flags section. The number of flags in shown in parentheses and the reason why the procedure flag(s) were added is displayed within a red text box, as shown in the image below.Procedure Viewer with Procedure Flags section
