How do I use the Representative Tasks Dashboard? (Institutional Representatives Only)

Created by Help Desk Team, Modified on Thu, 27 Mar at 4:47 PM by April Ripka

The Representative Task Dashboard is provided to allow Institutional Representatives to see information about their institution at a glance.

All Institutional Representatives for your institution see the same information (numbers) on the dashboard; the information is specific to the institution, but not to any specific Institutional Representative.

To access the Representative Task Dashboard :

  1. Click on the Representative link at the top of the site.

  2. Select Dashboard.

The My Procedures tiles display the following information:

  1. Active: The number of currently published (active) procedures contributed by your institution. These appear in the procedures list - see How do I view/read a procedure?
  2. Drafts: The number of procedures that have been created by your institution, but are not yet published.
  3. Flagged: The number of procedures for your institution that have been flagged by any CUSP user (all cusp users can flag procedures).
    • To view the procedure, including the user's reason for adding the flag, see How do I view/read a procedure?
    • When a procedure from your institution is flagged, a member of the CUSP Quality Control team will work with the flagger and/or institution's IRs to resolve the flag.
    • For more information about flagging procedures, see How and why do I flag a procedure or remove my flag?
    • Enhancement requests have been submitted to:
      • request that the Flagged Procedures listing on the Representative should allow for opening the flagged procedure, and
      • provide a way users to search for or view the procedures that they have personally flagged.
  4. Endorsed: The number of procedures from another procedure that have been endorsed by any institutional representative at your institution. Any institutional representative can add endorsement to any procedure from another institution (note: IRs cannot endorse procedures contributed by their own institution, regardless of whether their institution's name is displayed).
    • At this time, only the institutional representative (IR) who added the endorsement can remove it; however, an enhancement request has been submitted to allow any IR from your institution to remove the endorsement of another institution's procedure (e.g., this would be needed if IR who added the endorsement has left the institution). In the meantime, if you encounter any issues related to removing an endorsement, click here to submit a support ticket.
    • For more information about adding and removing endorsements, see How do I endorse a procedure or remove the endorsement?
  5. Expiring:
    • An expiration/renewal process for parent and child procedure contributions and endorsements is planned for Planned for implementation by Q1 2028 (when the first contributed procedures will hit the end of their third year). Renewal is expected to be required every three years. Procedures approaching the three-year expiration date are expected to be displayed here when that development is completed.
  6. Archived: The number of procedures your institution has archived (removed) after publishing.
    • Clicking on this tile will display the list of draft procedures, with view and recover buttons to the right of each listed procedure. When viewing an archived procedure, the "date archived" is displayed in red text. An enhancement request has been submitted to additionally display the "reason archived" that the institutional representative must enter when the procedure is archived. See How do I archive and recover (Reactivate) a procedure? for more information on managing archived procedures.

  2. Expiring:
    • An expiration/renewal process for users is not yet developed, so nothing will appear in this tile currently.
  3. Inactive: The number CUSP users affiliated with your institution that were once active but have since been inactivated disabled.
  4. Pending: The number of users who have requested to affiliate with your institution.

The My Institution tiles display the following information:

  1. Clicking on the Settings button will allow you to update the following information for your institution:
    • Full name
    • Short name (this is the name that is displayed within the site when you opt to identify your institution for any contributed procedure)
    • Address
    • Primary and Secondary contact
  2. Note: The Accepted User Email Domains, Rejected User Email Domains, and Single Sign-on Provider are not yet editable. These are expected to be used once the requested enhancement of allowing a single sign-on provider to manage account access/passwords is completed.

  3. For more information about updating institutional settings, see How do I review and update my institution's settings?
