How do I display my institution's name for a procedure (or remove its display)? (Institutional Representatives Only)

Created by Help Desk Team, Modified on Fri, 26 Apr, 2024 at 7:35 AM by Help Desk Team

On a procedure-by-procedure basis, institutions can decide whether their institution's name is publicly displayed on the CUSP site as the "contributing institution" for the procedure. If not displayed, the contributing institution will be displayed as "Institution Not Identified."

In the event that a procedure is published where the institution's name is inadvertently displayed or not displayed, the choice can be easily updated by editing the procedure.

Note: A procedure is no longer editable after another institution has endorsed it or created a child procedure from it. In the case where an institution's displayed name needs be added to or removed from a procedure that is no longer editable, Submit a support request to the CUSP help desk team.

  1. Click on the Representative link at the top of the site.

  2. Click on Procedures.

  3. Click on the Active tile under My Procedures.

  4. Click the Edit button (pen icon) to the right of the procedure

  5. Check or uncheck the "Display contribution institution checkbox in the Procedure Description section and then click SAVE at the bottom of the Procedure Description section

  6. Edits made to active (published) procedures will appear right away. No need to click SAVE ALL (button does not take any action in Edit mode on an active procedure).

  7. To exit the procedure, click on the My Dashboard or My Procedures link above the form. Be sure you've saved all desired changes prior to exiting.
